ARC 2: ECLIPSE THE NAME

A Many Tale's first Arc, WorldWalker, concluded last autumn. Now Opaline's story has returned. We are now SEVEN episodes into Arc II. A Many Tale began as a sketchbook for story writing and has grown tremendously. I'm thankful for your readership and I hope that all the strangeness of this sketchbook for writing has touched you in the way it touched me.

Because of the sketchbook nature of AMT, and the opportunities this serial has provided me in comics, novels, and other mediums, expect a more chaotic and "delayed" schedule between episodes. Our weekly turnout in Arc I would require sacrificing time towards more intensive endeavors in the current moment, and while I love AMT greatly, this is a sketchbook after all.

Dive into Arc 2: Eclipse the Name below!

A Many Tale is a Cosmic Fantasy serial chronicled from the perspective of a meter tall mouseling, Opaline.

A WorldWalker cursed to "blip" from universe to universe (and time to time) Opaline is thrown between planets and dimensions as well as years and epochs at a whims notice.

A time-traveling vagabond against his will, Opaline searches for purpose in his misadventurous quests, conversations, and interactions with people (mostly peculiar)  he meets along the way.

Only by spinning his top, and counting how long it takes to fall, does Opaline know how much time he has left on any given world (or in any given time).

An existential story of love, purpose, and willpower. Also, its quite odd.

A Many Tale

A COSMIC FANTASY SERIAL

by JACOB JOHN WHITE

A Many Tale began as a sketchbook for storytelling. A story whose origins lie in the random implementation of prompts and die rolls to determine particular paths in writing.

Over time, those sketchbook stories about a small mouse living in the meadow took a wild turn into the cosmos.

Now, every episode of AMT holds a plethora of adventures. From westerns to space operas to cyberpunk to modernist, each story tackles a wide multiverse piece by piece.

I consider AMT a mosaic of my imagination. That mosaic has created 52 episodes in Arc I, with Arc II now underway.
