ARC1: WorldWalker has ENDED
The first Arc of Opaline's story, WorldWalker, has come to a close after 14 months and 52 episodes. A year of AMT is over but the story has only just begun. NOW is the time to jump into our completely free online serial with Episodes 1-3 below, or help support and purchase our AMT Starter Stories zine below, either of which will get you set and ready to read all of Opaline's tale in preparation for Arc II.
Thank you so much for your support and readership. The growth this past year has been beyond expectation and your continued passion and enthusiasm for more of Opaline's odd tale has been mind blowing. This began as an experiment and turned into a full on cosmic epic. The tonal changes and peculiarities of AMT seem only to strengthen the reception to the story, and I doubted that would be the case. You all have proven that people want weird.
A Many Tale will return Spring 2023. In the meantime expect more updates for so many fun adventures.
A Many Tale is a Cosmic Fantasy serial chronicled from the perspective of a strangely intelligent mouseling: Opaline.
A WorldWalker cursed to "blip" from universe to universe (and time to time) Opaline is thrown between planets and dimensions as well as years and epochs at a whims notice!
A time-traveling vagabond against his will, Opaline searches for purpose in his misadventurous quests, conversations, and interactions with people (mostly peculiar) he meets along the way.
Only by spinning his top, and counting how long it takes to fall, does Opaline know how much time he has left on any given world (or in any given time).
An existential story of love, purpose, and willpower. Also, its quite odd.
A COSMIC FANTASY SERIAL
by JACOB JOHN WHITE
A Many Tale is both episodic and continuous, following single vignettes and sometimes entire "Arcs." Some stories will be 500 word scenes, and others will be 200,000 word Arcs broken up over years!
The freedom of A Many Tale lies in our hero's Point of View. Opaline's cosmic affliction gives him the opportunity to visit all manner of odd places.
One week may be a western, and the next a space opera! The smallest of heroes will see the grandest of adventures.
Perhaps Opaline will save watermelon folk from an army of hungry myceliam! Or he'll duel a god against the backdrop of an exploding star! Or, maybe, he'll have a charming conversation with a strangely cognitive cup of coffee.
